Fiberglass-reinforced vinyl ester and polyester composites with unusual toughness and excellent retention of physical properties over a wide range of temperatures.

QC-8800, QC-8700 and QC-8560 family of composite materials provide a unique combination of properties for structural applications combining expected composite advantages of light weight, corrosion resistance, electrical insulation with unusual toughness and strength.

These materials retain room temperature properties down to at least -60°F

QC-8700 & QC-8560 high-temperature vinyl ester ESC® materials retain significant mechanical properties at elevated temperature relative to regular vinyl ester and polyesters.

Versions of QC series materials are available with fiberglass lengths of 1 inch to 0.25 inch along with continuous unidirectional or multi directional fiberglass.

Other options include:

  • Flame-retardant version
  • Molded in colors
  • Low density (density of 1.2 or less)
  • Conductive fillers
  • Reduced aerial (mat) weight
